At Skyfall Overseas Enterprises (“we”, “our” or “us”), we arrange shipping for wholesale, export and customised leather product orders. This policy explains how we manage order preparation, dispatch and delivery.
The shipping terms confirmed in your quotation, proforma invoice or written order agreement apply to your order.
1. Order Confirmation and Processing
Orders proceed after product specifications, quantities, pricing and payment terms have been agreed, and the required advance payment has been received.
Production time depends on the quantity, leather and component availability, customisation and sample approval requirements. We will confirm the estimated production schedule when your order is finalised.
Changes requested after confirmation may affect pricing and dispatch dates.
2. Shipping Coverage
We arrange domestic and international shipments, subject to service availability, destination restrictions and applicable import or export requirements.
Please share your complete delivery address and destination details when requesting a quotation so we can assess the available shipping options.
3. Production and Delivery Timelines
Production time and shipping time are separate. The production schedule covers preparation of your goods; shipping time begins after dispatch.
Estimated delivery dates depend on the shipping method, destination, carrier schedules and customs clearance. We will share the expected schedule when arranging your shipment.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing. If we become aware of a delay, we will keep you informed and assist with shipment follow-up.
4. Shipping Methods
Depending on the order and destination, shipments may be arranged by:
- Courier: Suitable for samples and smaller consignments.
- Air freight: Suitable for time-sensitive shipments.
- Sea freight: Suitable for larger or heavier bulk orders.
- Domestic transport: Courier or road transport for deliveries within India.
Buyers may also nominate their own freight forwarder, subject to prior agreement on collection and documentation arrangements.
5. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges depend on the destination, shipment dimensions, actual or chargeable weight, shipping method and any additional services required.
Your quotation or invoice will state whether freight is included or charged separately. Unless expressly included, the product price does not include shipping.
Any changes to the delivery address, packing requirements or shipping method may require a revised freight quotation.
6. Customs, Duties and Taxes
Responsibility for customs clearance, duties, taxes and other destination charges will follow the shipping terms agreed for your order.
Unless our written quotation expressly includes these charges, they are payable by the buyer. Buyers must provide accurate consignee details and any documents or information required for import clearance.
Storage, redelivery or other additional charges arising from incorrect delivery details, delayed clearance or failure to accept delivery may be charged to the buyer where applicable.
7. Dispatch Documents and Tracking
Once the goods are dispatched, we will share the available tracking or shipment reference details.
Relevant shipping documents will be provided according to the shipment method and agreed terms. These may include a commercial invoice, packing list, courier tracking reference, air waybill or bill of lading.
8. Packaging and Delivery Arrangements
We use packaging appropriate to the products and agreed shipping method to help protect goods during handling and transit.
Special packaging, individual gift boxes, custom labels or palletisation should be discussed before order confirmation, as these may affect costs and shipment dimensions.
Responsibility for transport arrangements, costs and transit risk follows the agreed delivery terms. Dispatch alone does not override those terms or any applicable legal obligations.
9. Damaged, Missing or Lost Shipments
Please inspect the shipment when it arrives. If the outer packaging shows visible damage, record it with the delivery provider where possible before signing for receipt.
Notify us promptly if goods arrive damaged, items are missing or a shipment appears to be lost. Please provide:
- Your order or invoice number
- The shipment or tracking reference
- Clear photographs of the outer packaging, shipping labels and affected products
- Details of any shortage or damage
- Any delivery remarks or supporting documents available
Keep the packaging and affected goods until the claim has been reviewed. Carrier and insurer reporting deadlines may apply, so early notification is important.
We will review the information and coordinate with the relevant logistics provider or insurer. Any resolution will depend on the findings, agreed shipping terms and applicable obligations.
10. Shipping Insurance
Your quotation or order agreement will state whether shipment insurance is included.
Where insurance is not included, you may request it before dispatch, and we will confirm availability, coverage and any additional cost. If the agreed delivery terms require us to arrange insurance, we will do so in accordance with those terms.
Insurance claims are subject to the insurer’s coverage, exclusions, reporting deadlines and documentation requirements. We will assist with the relevant shipment records where a claim is made.
For bulk or high-value shipments, we encourage buyers to discuss suitable insurance cover before confirming the shipping arrangements. Where insurance is not arranged, responsibility for transit loss or damage remains governed by the agreed delivery terms and applicable law.
