At Skyfall Overseas Enterprises, quality starts with choosing the right leather and continues through cutting, stitching, finishing and packing. We check the details that matter: how a product looks, how it feels and how well it works.
Based in Kolkata, India, we manufacture and supply leather products for wholesale, export and private label requirements. Our quality checks are guided by the specifications agreed with each buyer, including materials, dimensions, construction, branding and packaging.
Starting with the Right Materials
Leather has natural variations in grain, texture and colour. Selecting it carefully helps us achieve the finish a customer expects while keeping production consistent.
Before production, we check leather for its suitability, thickness, colour and surface condition. We also review linings, threads, zips, buttons, buckles and other components according to the product requirements.
Checks During Production
Checking work as it progresses helps us identify problems before they affect the finished order. During cutting, stitching and assembly, we pay attention to:
- Accurate cutting and alignment of components
- Even stitching and secure seams
- Neatly fitted linings, pockets and compartments
- Correct placement and operation of hardware
- Consistency with the approved design or sample
For custom orders, the agreed specifications and approved sample provide the reference for production checks.
Finishing and Final Inspection
A well-made leather product should feel as carefully finished as it looks. Before packing, we review the workmanship and presentation, paying particular attention to edges, stitching, loose threads, glue marks and surface blemishes.
We also check practical details. Wallet pockets should be neatly formed, closures should work properly, and belt buckles and keeper loops should be securely fitted. Where branding is required, we check its position, clarity and appearance against the approved instructions.
Consistency Across the Order
Wholesale buyers need consistency across a collection and from one order to the next. We compare products against the agreed requirements, checking dimensions, construction, colour and finishing throughout the batch.
The same attention applies to sourced products. We communicate the buyer’s requirements to our supply partners and review the goods against those specifications. Where an issue is identified, we work to resolve it before dispatch.
Packing with Care
Our checks continue through packing. We review product quantities, styles, colours, labels and packaging against the confirmed order.
Protective packing and suitable outer cartons help reduce the risk of scuffing, deformation and damage in transit. For private label orders, we also check branded boxes, tags and inserts against the buyer’s instructions.
Clear Requirements Make Better Products
Different buyers have different priorities. Some focus on leather finish and presentation; others need particular dimensions, packaging or performance requirements.
We encourage customers to share these details before sampling and production. Any specific testing, inspection or documentation requirements should be discussed when the order is being planned, so the arrangements are clear from the beginning.

Improving with Every Order
Customer feedback helps us improve our products and the way we work. We use it to review recurring issues, refine finishing details and make future orders more consistent.
Our aim is straightforward: to supply leather products that match what was agreed, are carefully checked and arrive properly packed.
